All-American Resources specializes in locating the “athlete” skill set. If you are an athlete or former athlete or consider yourself competitive, disciplined, coachable and goal oriented, we want to speak with you! Our services are FREE to the student-athletes we assist in career planning, interview preparation and, ultimately, career placement. All-American Resources is paid by our contracting companies when our candidates are hired. Thus, we are very motivated to assist you in getting hired. Many of our positions are in sales, management and operations management in various industries, however, we are continually adding new corporate clients to reflect other areas that are of career interest to graduating student-athletes.
1. Career Counseling. Not sure what you want to do? We will give you a personality profile, and make appropriate suggestions. We will help you narrow down your career choices, develop an individual career path and formulate a career search plan specific to your career goals. 2. Mock Interviews and Resume Review. We will conduct a professional 30-minute business interview with you. This will provide you with valuable practice experience and allow us to pinpoint your personal strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, we will review your resume to ensure that it represents you in the most positive and professional way. We will teach you how to present your athletic experience as work experience utilizing today’s interviewing methodologies. 3. Placement. If you are looking to job shadow or intern, we will notify you of opportunities available to you. If you are an athletically eligible student-athlete, all opportunities will be presented to you thru your Life Skills coordinator or an appropriate athletic administrator. If your skill set matches that of our client corporation and your athletic eligibility has expired, we will schedule you for a formal interview with our client company. 4. Feedback. During interviews with our client companies, we continuously work with our candidate throughout the entire process to the actual job offer. We give you immediate feedback after each interview.
