We will present an hour long seminar on a variety of topics with your input such as career planning, resume writing, basic interview skills, and the “Do’s and Don’ts of Interviewing”. We will then discuss the “athlete” skill set, why corporations desire this skill set and how to verbalize in an interview these attributes utilizing one’s athletic experience to provide work experience.

2. Mock Interview Day Event. An individualized, one-on-one event which is a perfect follow-up to a group seminar. We will put the student-athlete thru a professional interview providing immediate feedback at its conclusion and a strategy for improvement. We will teach the student-athlete how to transfer his/her personal skills learned on the playing field into a professional business interview using current interviewing methodologies.

3. Career Coach. We help the student-athlete narrow down his/her career choices, develop an individual career path and formulate a career search plan specific to each student-athlete’s career goals. After we leave campus, we are available to your student-athletes to answer their questions or concerns and will work with them until they have a job, either one of ours or one of their own.

4. Placement. Any interaction with student-athletes who have athletic eligibility in regards to internships and job shadowing opportunities is handled directly thru an athletic administrator. Upon expiration of an athlete’s eligibility, if an athlete’s skill set matches that of our clients’, he/she will be submitted for formal interviews. During interviews with our client companies, we continuously work with our candidate throughout the entire process to the actual job offer. ic directors whose responsibility it is to find employment for your ex-student athletes.
